Abstract
The issue of post-consumer textile waste is widely debated by the scientific community, however, there is a gap in research that seeks to map practical initiatives that enable effective management of this category of waste. Based on this context, this article aims to investigate management, collection, sorting, reuse and recycling initiatives with the aim of proposing a Taxonomy of strategies for managing postconsumer textile waste. The investigation was conducted using the Design Science Research method, using Systematic Bibliographic Review (RBS), Unsystematic Bibliographic Review (RBA) and Desktop Research as methodological procedures. The results highlight the existence of an imbalance in the volume of initiatives and the scarcity of projects implemented on a large scale, which promote the management of post-consumer textile waste in a consolidated manner. From the mapping, sixteen strategies were identified, which were distributed according to the practices with which they are associated and made up the proposed Taxonomy
