Abstract

A logo is an important visual element in representing the identity of an organization or entity. The Persija Jakarta logo, as a symbol of one of the leading football clubs in Indonesia, also plays an important role in communicating the passion and pride attached to the club and its supporters. This study aims to analyze the role of the use of visual elements in the Persija Jakarta logo in representing passion and pride. This research uses a qualitative approach with visual element analysis methods and Ferdinand De Saussure's semiotic theory. The data used in this study include the Persija Jakarta logo, related documents, and interviews with representatives of the club's supporters, namely Jakmania. The analysis is carried out by examining the visual elements in the logo such as colors, shapes, symbols, and typography, and how these elements interact to convey
