The world of Artificial Intelligence and Silicon Valley have been rocked in Nov. 2023 by the sudden ouster of OpenAI CEO, Sam Altman, by the company's board. While this dramatic story that entertained the software industry for a week could be seen as mere news, it is indeed more than that; and the significance of this story is not Sam Altman himself as an AI business figure.
