Abstract

Zhou et al. have developed pH-responsive polyserotonin-modified Salmonella carrying a self-activated DNAzyme. This novel platform minimizes immune clearance, selectively disassembling in the tumor's acidic microenvironment to reactivate Salmonella and release DNAzyme. This “Trojan horse” strategy improves therapeutic outcomes.
