The factors and features influencing the indicator of the volume of commercial milk production in the Russian Federation and the analyzed region, the quality of milk are revealed. The volume of commercial milk production is the main key indicator of the development of dairy cattle breeding, since it is commercial (and not all raw) milk that is the resource base for the industrial production of dairy products and only commercial milk can be reliably accounted for. To date, in the republic, the share of commercial milk from the total milk yield is only 51%, with the average Russian indicator of 73.7%. Based on this, possible ways to solve the problem of increasing the volume of commercial milk production in the Republic of Bashkortostan, as well as the impact of modernization of production facilities, state subsidies and investments in the development of the industry are considered. Abstract

The article considers the indicator of marketability of milk, which directly affects the formation of competitiveness of raw milk produced in the Republic of Bashkortostan, and raw materials for further export and production of dairy products.
