Comparative GIS Analysis of Public Transport Accessibility in Metropolitan Areas

The results of the study reveal an interesting trend: that with increase in distance of LGA from city centre, the blank spot percentage increases while the frequency of services and stops offering weekend/night services declines. With urban areas facing rapid population growth, public transport plays a key role to provide efficient and economic accessibility to the residents.
