Abstract

This paper analyzed the effectiveness of interactive applications as a didactic strategy in developing mathematical skills in primary school students. This is an explanatory, exploratory, quasi-experimental, and longitudinal study. We worked with a control group and an experimental group. The population consisted of 38 primary school students. The main results show that interactive technological applications are effective as a didactic strategy in developing mathematical skills, achieving a significant difference in the tests applied to the control group in correspondence with the experimental group. These findings reveal that teaching mathematics must be innovative without neglecting the classical elements that make meaningful learning possible.
