Abstract

Abstract This article provides an in-depth analysis of six recent merger enforcement actions involving platform industries in the U.S., EU, and UK. The paper argues that these cases reflect enforcers’ concerns about concentration, corporate size, and the power of digital platforms, but that the success of this enforcement effort is uncertain.
