TESTING INFLUENCE OF CHANGES IN MOVING UNIT AND RETURN DEVICE ON OPERATION OF AKM RIFLE

Abstract

Paper presents results of research of AKM rifles modified with commercial parts kits. Among others, modifications included gas piston with gas regulator and elastomer buffer on the return mechanism. Research included live firing tests which allowed to evaluate effects of the modifications on the operation and chosen characteristics of the rifles.
