Abstract
Teicoplanin is an important antimicrobial agent for methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus infections. To enhance its clinical effectiveness while preventing adverse effects, therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) of teicoplanin trough concentration is recommended.
