Abstract

En este trabajo estudiaremos el rol de la Defensoría Pública en el sistema brasileño de distribución de justicia, teniendo en cuenta la relevancia de este organismo en Brasil y Latinoamérica. Hacemos un análisis desde las corrientes de renovación de Mauro Cappelletti y Bryant Garth, considerando la evolución de la Defensoría Pública desde los años 1960 hasta hoy y sus principales cambios.
