Abstract

In this paper we give necessary conditions for quadratic functions $ f :\mathbb {R}\rightarrow \mathbb {R}$ that satisfy the additional equation $ y^2 f(x) = x^2 f(y) $ under the condition $ xy = 1 \,$.
