Dynamics of the urban population in the context of urbanization processes in Siberia in 1897–1917

Abstract

In the article, based on an analysis of the dynamics of the number of cities in the period 1897-1917, the key factors that influenced the growth of the urban population are considered. Models for the development of cities in Siberia are identified, and an assessment of Siberian urbanization is given in the context of all-Russian trends in the early 20th century.
