SCENARIOS FOR THE IMPACT OF CLIMATE CHANGE ON RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE

Abstract

Based on statistics of hazardous hydrometeorological phenomena, scenarios for the influence of climate impacts on the railway transport infrastructure have been developed. Within the framework of these scenarios, assessments of climate risks, damage from incidents associated with climate impacts, costs of its elimination, investments aimed at adapting railway infrastructure and preventing damage from incidents on railways caused by climate factors are formed.
