COST ESTIMATION METHODS for ADAPTING RAILWAY INFRASTRUCTURE to CLIMATE CHANGE

Abstract

To obtain statistical data on damages from accidents in railway transport due to climatic reasons, as well as on the costs of their elimination, publicly available sources of information on natural disasters and railway accidents in Russia and the world were analyzed. Science-based methods for estimating the cost of measures taken to adapt the railway infrastructure to climate change are proposed.
