Results. An analysis of research related to this problem, which was conducted in recent years, was made, and considerations regarding the prospects of using umbilical cord blood in the treatment of diseases of the cardiovascular system were outlined. Conclusions. Abstract

Cardiovascular diseases are currently the most common cause of death worldwide.
