Analisis karakteristik lalu lintas dilakukan dengan metode Greenberg untuk mencarihubungan antara volume, kecepatan, dan kepadatan. Dilakukan juga identifikasi terhadap tingkatpelayanan jalan ditinjau dari kapasitas ruas jalan tersebut. Dalam melakukan analisis, MKJI dijadikansebagai acuan metode karena telah disesuaikan dengan kondisi lalu lintas di Indonesia. Data primeryang dibutuhkan berupa jumlah kendaraan, geometri jalan, dan kecepatan kendaraan yang diperolehdari pengamatan langsung di lapangan. Data sekunder yang dibutuhkan yaitu peta RBI KabupatenSidoarjo. Didapatkan hasil analisis karakteristik lalu lintas berupa volume maksimum (Qmaks) =3322.999 smp/jam, kecepatan saat volume maksimum (Vm) = 11,18 km/jam, kepadatan maksimum(Dm) = 297.218 smp/km, kepadatan jenuh (Dj) = 807.923 smp/km, dan kecepatan bebas (Vf) = 64.962km/jam. Indeks Tingkat Pelayanan Jalan (ITP) termasuk ke dalam kelas F (Arus Terhambat). PenerapanSistem Informasi Geografis dilakukan dengan menggunakan hasil penelitian tersebut sebagai dataatribut dalam peta tematik karakteristik lalu lintas. Koefisien determinasi (R2) rata-rata dari seluruhsegmen adalah 0,298, sehingga metode greenberg kurang cocok digunakan pada ruas Jalan Raya KletekSidoarjo.Kata kunci: Karakteristik Lalu Lintas, Metode Greenberg, Sistem Informasi Geografis.Abstract: Kletek Highway segment is an arterial road located in Taman District, Sidoarjo Regency. Dueto the high and growing volume, it is necessary to analyze the traffic characteristics. Trafficcharacteristics analysis was conducted using the Greenberg method to find the relationship betweenvolume, speed, and density. An identification of the level of service of the road in terms of the capacityof the road section was also carried out. In conducting the analysis, MKJI is used as a reference methodbecause it has been adapted to traffic conditions in Indonesia. The primary data required are thenumber of vehicles, road geometry, and vehicle speed obtained from direct observation in the field. Thesecondary data needed is the Sidoarjo Regency RBI map. The results of the analysis of trafficcharacteristics in the form of maximum volume (Qmax) = 3322,999 smp / hour, the speed at maximumvolume (Vm) = 11.18 km / hour, maximum density (Dm) = 297,218 smp / km, saturation density (Dj) =807,923 smp / km, and free speed (Vf) = 64,962 km/hour. The Road Service Level Index (ITP) is includedin class F (Obstructed Flow). The Geographic Information System was applied by using the researchresults as attribute data in the thematic map of traffic characteristics.
