Abstract

This paper compared the work of aging cognition and facial description among the works of Bai-ju-yi and Han-yu.BR Bai-ju-yi always cared about gray hair, hair loss and teeth loss, and lamented his aging whenever he found the phenomenon of aging. He contrasted his youth with his present self, and wrote a typical work that lamented the growing old due to the impatience of time. Bai-ju-yi looked into his face through a mirror and a portrait, and then lamented and sometimes rejoiced about aging.BR Han-yu accepted aging as a kind of change, and explained how the change specifically changed daily life. He expressed his emotions and distance from aging through objectification and dailyization, and in this sense, he certainly reflected the culture of the new era in self-awareness and subject expression.BR Describing a face that is a direct manifestation of aging and aging is like writing a self-portrait with poetry. Self-portraits written in poetry reflect both the view of oneself and the view of aging, revealing self-consciousness and aesthetic consciousness.
