Abstract

Oral submucous fibrosis (OSMF) is a potentially debilitating condition primarily associated with betel nut and tobacco use and drinking alcohol. This report presents two cases of OSMF, highlighting the importance of early diagnosis, appropriate management, and follow-up to prevent progression and complications. The discussion underscores the significance of patient education and cessation of harmful habits in halting the disease's advancement and the potential for malignant transformation.
