Abstract

With the increasing number of older people, this community’s protection, welfare, and independence must run well. This research will then be carried out to see how the implementation of elderly schools can empower the elderly to stay healthier and independent through non-formal education. This research will be carried out using a qualitative approach. The data obtained are sourced from various research results and studies that are relevant to this research. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of elderly schools in Central Java province has been carried out for a long time.
