After orotracheal intubation, the anesthetist inflated the cuff with a 5 ml syringe to obtain a pressure that he considered sufficient for tracheal sealing. A pressure test was performed to assess airway leakage. Cuff pressure was measured using a syringe designed to measure cuff pressure (AG Cuffill®). It should be noted that only 16.66% of the cuffs were within the established standard range.
