Abstract
. On an array of 82 pesticides for which threshold limit values (TLVs) have been approved, the risk of migration of pesticides from soil to atmospheric air was assessed based on the preliminary and final integrated hazard indices (PIHI, FIHI). The criteria for calculating both indices were: saturated vapor pressure, Henry's constant, coefficient of the possibility of inhalation poisoning (CPIP). When defining FIHI, potential risk of occupational exposure (PROE) and potential risk of unprofessional influence (PRUPI) were also considered. For each criterion, three levels of danger, their scoring and weighting factors are defined. It was established that from 70 a. s. only 1 (hexachlorobutadiene) has a high and 2 (heptam and heptachlor) a medium PIHI: 9, 6 and 5 points, respectively
