China Abstract: Studying the influencing factors of elderly crossing behavior and modeling of crossing decisions is of great significance for the safety of elderly crossing due to the complex traffic condition and rich traffic information at signalized intersections. Considering the actual situation of elderly pedestrian's crossing, the elderly pedestrian's crossing decisions are divided into three types: direct crossing, observation crossing, and waiting crossing. The impact factors of the elderly crossing the street are divided into external environmental factors and their own internal factors. The external environmental characteristics that may affect the elderly people's decision to cross the street are completed through on-site investigations, and the questionnaire is designed to collect the possible internal factors. Finally, 359 valid samples are obtained. With the method of factor test, the significant factors affecting the elderly's decision to cross the street are analyzed, and a multivariate logistic model for the elderly to cross the street at the signalized intersection is initially constructed. Pearson test shows that the pavement conditions, whether there are safety islands, curbs and other factors in the factors are related, that is, the model has a collinearity problem. We
