Abstract

Shaken baby syndrome is a serious brain injury, resulting from forcefully shaking an infant or toddler. It’s also known as abusive head trauma, shaken impact syndrome, inflicted head injury or whiplash shaken infant syndrome. A descriptive design was used for this study. 100 samples were selected by purposive sampling method. Data was collected by the structured questionnaire which is designed to assess the knowledge regarding shaken baby syndrome. The data collected was analyzed using descriptive statistics.
