Inhabitants of Rostov Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Monastery of the Yaroslavl region at the second half of the 19th – early 20th centuries: dynamics of the change in the population, socio-demographic characteristics

Abstract

The article examines the features of the social development of the Rostov Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Monastery at the second half of the 19th early 20th centuries. The source base was the statements about the monastery from the collection of the state archive of the Yaroslavl region. The article shows the dynamics of the change in the population of the monastery; the factors that influenced this change, the social origin of the inhabitants, age, level of education.
