Ontologia hermenêutica e niilismo: o enfraquecimento da verdade e a abertura à pluralidade

Abstract

This article analyzes the concept of nihilism. From the many understandings, we seek to present the process of the weakening of absolute truths that result in new possibilities of experiencing religion, especially Christianity. Based on the bibliographical research of Gianni Vattimo's works, we dialogued with other contemporary authors. The aim is to understand the eventuality process of being and the dissolution of values and metaphysical truths that sustain certain philosophical and religious fundamentalism and dogmatism. For this, it is important to appreciate the hermeneutics role in this opening process to plurality and language as a guarantee for life meaning and existence. Keywords: Nihilism.
