Pedagogical works of K.D. Ushinsky and their importance for the development of medical education (to the 200th anniversary of the birth of the great Russian teacher)

Abstract

The article describes the educational, research, pedagogical, writing and social activities of the outstanding Russian teacher Konstantin Dmitrievich Ushinsky. His significant contribution to the foundation and development of scientific pedagogy in Russia, reformation in the educational process, education, thinking, pedagogy, as well as innovation in literary and social activities is noted. The importance of K.D. Ushinsky's pedagogical works for the development of medical education, including in the IU of the Pirogov Center, is presented.
