Results: Refractive errors were common among Saudi school-going children, with myopia being the most common type of refractive error. About 96 (59.6%) samples had myopia, 28 (17.4%) children had hyperopia and 27 (16.8%) children did not have any refractive error. Genetic traits and machine dependence were found to be significant predictors of refractive error. Abstract
