Abstract
In order to better promote the ideological and political education of “Probability Theory and Mathematical Statistics”, and implement the fundamental task of building morality and cultivating people, this paper proposes ways to improve teachers’ ideological and political awareness and ability, select appropriate course teaching methods, focus on introducing the case based ideological and political teaching method, and enumerate several cases that incorporate ideological and political elements in detail, which not only improves students’ learning interest, but also adds ideological and political elements, improving the effect of ideological and political implementation of the course.
