Abstract

The article describes the improvement of the hydraulic gradient method for detecting leaks and unauthorized taps in a pipeline, taking into account the specifics of field conditions. It proposes modifying the existing formula for determining leak locations and improving the classical method by incorporating flow meter data in conjunction with pressure sensors. The calculation formulas, the results of testing the obtained algorithms and the software module created for them are presented.
