Abstract

(Abstracted from Obstet Gynecol 2023;141:629–641) Most women diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer report symptoms related to pelvic organ prolapse or urinary incontinence (POP-UI) before and during their cancer treatment. Often, these symptoms go untreated; however, several studies have suggested concurrent surgery for gynecologic cancer, and POP-UI symptoms is safe and may reduce total surgeries but lack long-term follow-up data.
