The lengths of the 2nd and 4th digits were determined by a direct method of measurement. Photographic approaches were used to capture the face, facial masculinity was derived from facial distances (captured image face). We use several approaches of measuring facial masculinity to study the association with digit ratio. The data were expressed as mean ± SD, Pearson correlation was used to quantify the relationships between the 2D: 4D and facial masculinity. None of the facial masculine- measures correlated with both right and left 2D:4D ratios. Abstract

Studies have recognized an association between 2D: 4D ratios and testosterone-dependent traits. The aim of the present study is to determine the relationship of 2D: 4D and facial masculinity. Four hundred and two (402) subjects were selected from the two association in Kano state (Tsaya da Kafarka Taxi Drivers Association and Tricycle Operators Association Kano (TOAKAN), using random sampling methods, the age range of the participants between 18-50 years.
