Abstract
The purpose of this research is to quantify the level of using competencies in digital learning objects among teachers in the basic education stage in the Asir region and the importance of statistical disparities in competence across years of experience and educational qualifications. The researchers used a descriptive design and quantitative approach, with the questionnaire acting as the major data collection instrument, to achieve the study’s goals. 297 male teachers from Asir region basic education stage schools were the study population. Basic education stage school teachers in the Asir region scored highly on the measures of competencies in using a computer, competencies for designing digital activities, competencies of using global network resources, and competencies dealing with cloud event storage. The findings also showed that basic education stage teachers’ views on competencies of digital learning objects were unrelated to demographic factors such as years of experience or level of education.
