Abstract

ABSTRACT Globally, Indonesia has the 2nd highest tuberculosis cases after India. Pulmonary tuberculosis is a contagious infectious disease that attacks the lung parenchym. Tuberculosis can affect everyone, including children. The aims of this study was to determine the risk factors of Tuberculosis in children. This study used literatur review design that reviewed the risk factor of tuberculosis in children in Indonesia. Scholar google was used as the database, then found 8 articles that matched the inclusion and exclusion criteria. Eight articles of this study consisted of 5 case control study, 2 crossectional stdy, and 1 cohort study. The risk factors of tuberculosis in children is contact with TB patient, age, male sex, male, exposure of smoke, kondisi fisik rumah, occupancy density, and physical condition of house.
