Abstract
The photophysical properties of Tb3+ ions in dilute aqueous solutions of 4methacryloylamidobenzoic acid and sodium styrenesulfonate copolymers have been studied. The influence of the concentration and ratio of the interacting components on the Tb3+ luminescence intensity is analyzed, and the optimal conditions corresponding to the maximum luminescence intensity of the solution are determined. The study of the cytotoxicity and antiviral activity of the samples showed the promise of using the copolymers and their complexes with lanthanide ions in antiviral therapy
