About M.M. Bakhtin and the need to form a new political culture

Abstract

В статье кратко охарактеризовано творческое наследие М. М. Бахтина – одного из крупнейших представителей персонализма в философии, основоположника персоналистского направления в теории литературы. Но, как представляется, главное значение работ Бахтина заключается в том, что его нравственная философия может стать основой для будущей политологии, соответствующей требованиям и вызовам нашего времени. В статье указано, какие именно положения нравственной философии Бахтина могут стать фундаментом новой политологии (ответственность поступка, участное мышление, диалог в трактовке выдающегося ученого). The article briefly describes the creative legacy of M.M. Bakhtin, one of the largest representatives of personalism in philosophy, the founder of the personalist trend in literary theory. But it seems that the main significance of Bakhtin’s works lies in the fact that his moral philosophy can become the basis for future political science that meets requirements and challenges of our time. The article indicates exactly which provisions of Bakhtin’s moral philosophy can become the foundation of a new political science (responsibility of action, participatory thinking, dialogue as interpreted by the outstanding scientist).
