ON "NEW" CLASSIFICATION CRITERIA FOR RADIOACTIVE WASTE

Abstract

This article presents the results of the analysis of the new edition of the Criteria for Classification of Disposable Radioactive Waste. The significance of the Government Decree No. 1929, its potential impact on the technology and economics of "defuse" of radioactive waste, as well as the semantic content, validity and quality of a number of novels presented in the document are discussed. The need for a broad discussion and revision of the government act before its entry into force on 01.01.2024 is noted.
