Abstract

The article explores the availability in university libraries of scholarly and methodological literature needed to prepare students for work as homeroom teachers. By analyzing collections of scholarly and methodological literature, the author identifies the dynamics of educational issues discourse, shows the correlation between educational content at different stages of development of the country, identifies the conditions for using accumulated library sources in training homeroom teachers. In conclusion, the author determines the prospects of scolarly and methodological support for training homeroom teachers.
