Abstract

Abstract For the unrestricted calculation of gearboxes with a constant transmission ratio, a parameter radius ratio is developed. For this purpose, a parameter radius ratio is introduced that has a piecewise continuous and differentiable domain of definition. Thus, the parameter can be used efficiently in the algorithmic implementation for the optimisation of a contact point of two gears.
