Spearman’s correlation test, which was used to analyse relationships between the results, revealed a strong correlation ( r 2 = 0.93) between the δ 13 C cellulose values and those of whole wood powder from B . aegyptiaca , as well as between the δ 13 C cellulose values and those of lignin ( r 2 = 0.73).
