Trends in the archaeological study of Central Asia in the historical science of the Soviet era

Abstract

This article is devoted to the analysis of the directions of studying the history of Central Asia by Soviet researchers from the expansion of the scale of ongoing archaeological research, the creation of large-scale complex expeditions in the 1930s 1940s and mass accumulation of archaeological material to the development of individual theoretical problems of the ancient history of the Central Asian society up to historical reconstruction.
