In the construction sector, in the 21st century, especially with the increasing importance of environmental awareness and sustainability, the use of wood in facade design and window production has become widespread. This study assesses the technological characteristics of laminated wooden window profiles, which hold significant potential in advancing sustainability objectives for building facades. To achieve this, test samples composed of three layers and bonded with urea-formaldehyde glue were created using black pine wood (Pinus nigra subsp. pallasiana). The findings of the experiments revealed that the technological attributes of the laminated black pine window profile surpassed those of the solid window profile. Abstract
Wood is an environment-friendly, durable, and sustainable material, which giving spaces a warm and natural look.
