Abstract

Background: The outbreak of COVID-19 caused by SARS-CoV-2 is currently the peak season of common respiratory viral infections. The clinical symptoms of most patients infected with SARS-CoV-2 are not significantly different from those of common respiratory viral infections. Therefore, the use of fast and specific methods, such as BiofilmArray RP2.1plus, play an important role in the early discrimination of respiratory viruses in symphomatic subjects.
