Grant finances development of seal for efficient power generation

Abstract

John Crane, in partnership with two UK universities, has been awarded a grant for a project that aims to develop a dry gas seal for highly efficient, power-generating technology that relies on power cycles based on supercritical carbon dioxide, instead of water or steam as the working fluid.
