Abstract

The article is devoted to peculiarities of the initial stage of investigation of thefts of copper-bearing equipment of traction rolling stock. The author reviews the algorithm of actions of transport policemen upon receipt of a message from an applicant and crime scene examination peculiarities. The paper identifies the main issues and proposes solutions for the investigation of such a type of crimes.
