Abstract

In this report results of experimental investigation of submillimeter-wave gyrotrons with pulsed solenoids will be presented. At wavelengths 0.5–0.65 mm the output power of 60–80 kW is achieved with efficiency 8–10%. The output power is transformed to the wave beam with quasi-linear polarization. Methods of the wavelength and polarization measurement will be described.
