РOSSIBLE CAUSES OF CLIMATE CHANGE AND THE NECESSITY OF DECARBONIZATION OF ENERGY

Abstract

Some stages of the emergence and solution of issues of global warming on Earth and designated possible ways to counteraction this phenomenon are considered. The role of Kyoto protocol and the Paris agreement in resolving issues related to counteraction global warming was noted. The acceptance of an agreement about decarbonisation of the economy provided for a decrease and use hydrocarbons. Decarbonisation of the economy is not end in itself, but the necessity to reduce emissions into the atmosphere. The use of methane gas emitted into the atmosphere by coal industry enterprises is also one of the reduce greenhouse gas emissions into the atmosphere. Possible sources of hydrogen, ways of its exploration, extraction and use in energy are considered.
