Green IoT — Issues and Challenges

Abstract

Internet of Things (IoT) is the next big thing in the Information and Communications Technology Industry (ICT). IoT is capable of connecting systems of small scale to large scale. Together these billions devices forms an enormous web of the devices on a very scale which we know as Internet of Things. With recent advancement in Technology, A huge growth in number of IoT devices is observed, which also increased the demand of energy. This created the desire of low power consuming IoT. A Green Internet of Things. This paper gives an overview of the Internet of Things, Elements of IoT and Applications of IoT. Moreover, Green Internet of Things, Green IoT Technology and Green IoT Applications are discussed. Finally, Challenges are discussed.
