This non-intrusive, almost wireless, solution provides a clear live visualization of workers' positions to interpret that nobody is in a risky environment at any given time through an user-friendly interface with various functionalities such as geofencing and automatic alarms. Part of Paul Wurth's commitment is to help customers improve their health and safety standards. From time to time, dangerous situations may appear around blast furnaces. This paper presents a real-time localization tool combining two technologies: Bluetooth Low Energy and Mesh Network.
