Abstract

For many years, quarrying activities that involves the extraction of rocks and minerals have been the primary industry in Malaysia and many countries worldwide Although the industry is an important part of the country's economy, it is without on site and off site side effects through its blasting, excavation, crushing, screening, stockpiling and transport of aggregate activities This project is to identify environmental impacts surrounding quarry area in term of land use changes, slope monitoring and vegetation health analysis using method of photogrammetry and remote sensing.
